Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' shooting to resume soon with clever planning

The coronavirus pandemic lockdown that brought the film industry to a standstill for five long months is slowly starting to get back to work after the government permission given recently with restrictions. Filming has already started for an untitled Vijay Sethupathi-Tapsee movie in Jaipur while Vijay Antony is beginning his next film from September 4th. It is also said that Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan', Simbu's 'Maanaadu' and a few others would restart from September 20th.

The hot news now is that Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures will also resume in the coming weeks. Sources have revealed that the team has a proper gameplan in place by which portions that do not involve Rajini will be shot first. Already a schedule has been planned with Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj and Soori and later Khusbhu, Meena and Siddharth too will join.

Considering the age-related risk factors the 'Annaathe' team has decided to give the maximum time for Superstar Rajinikanth portions which will be shot only when it is convenient to him which experts believe could be in the beginning of next year.

Meanwhile Siruthai Siva has already completed the post production work of the scenes that have already been shot and he plans to finish the coming schedule too before Rajini joins the sets. If everything goes as planned Sun Pictures is eyeing a April 14th release for 'Annaathe'.
