The shooting of 'Malgudi Days' has commenced at Kuttikanam. The movie revolves around a school named Malgudi Public school atop a hill. Anoop Menon and Bhama are the lead actors in this movie. This is the first time that the duo are pairing up.

'Malgudi Days' will see Anoop Menon as an artiste named Zephan Solomon. Bhama plays Janet, his wife. The movie, touted to be an emotional thriller is being directed by three brothers - Vinod, Vishak and Vivek. Parveen P handles the music department and Anil Nair cranks the camera.
