Director Mohan G had directed the movie Draupadi, starring Richard Rishi and Sheela which was released last week, and the controversial movie was said to be about fake love. This movie has been called casteist and there are many strong criticisms and reviews against the movie.

Even as the movie is running in theaters, another director has announced a new movie about fake love and honor killings. Director Shanmugam Muthusamy has announced that he will be directing a movie which will be an unbiased and neutral take on honor killings and fake love.

Shanmugam Muthusamy had made his debut with the movie Adangathey starring GV Prakash and Surabhi in lead roles, and this yet to be released movie also stars Sarath Kumar and Mandira Bedi in important roles. Recently, Shanmugam had also tweeted questioning the production house Sree Green productions on the reason behind not releasing Adangathey.
