Vijay films facing problems has become an usual affair. For his upcoming film Puli` directed by Chimbudevan, Plagiarism seems to be the big problem.

While the makers planned to release the first look and teaser of the much expected fantasy adventure flick on June 22, as Vijay`s birthday treat to his fans some miscreants who got access to the stills through illegal means, released the first look in social media. This prompted the makers to release the teaser many hours before the planned time of release. The person who leaded the teaser was arrested by the Chennai city police and the culprit is in the jail now.

Recently another set of Puli` stills started doing rounds in social media and this also seems to be the handiwork of miscreants as they are not released officially by the makers.

This has prompted Shibu Thameen and P.T.Selvakumar who have produced the film under the S.K.T. Films Banner to launch a complaint with the Chennai City Police Commissioner S.George. Yesterday, the duo met the Commissioner at his office and handed over their complaint letter seeking to catch the miscreants and take stern action against them.

The Commissioner ordered the cyber crime wing of the police department to start the search operation to nab the culprits. A special task force under Deputy Commissioner Jeyakumar has been formed for this purpose. The team has started investigating the crime and they are interrogating all the staff who worked for the film with access to the films photographs.
