Looks like cancer and divorce are two problems that plague actresses today as many of the entertaining ladies fall prey to either or both. The next to join the saddening line is the famous south Indian actress Mamta Mohandas. The actress is a familiar face across the four south Indian languages, having acted in a number of movies and also hosted TV shows.
In Tamil, she has performed the key role in films like ' Sivapathigaram', 'Thadayara Thakka' and 'Guru En Aalu'. The actress married a friend Prajeet, who is a businessman in the middle East. The two got married in November 2011 and by the end of a year into marriage, undue misunderstanding started cropping up, forcing the two to separate. The couple had filed for divorce by mutual consent and now it has been granted by the Ernakulam court. Add to this, Mamta is on a sabbatical currently, recovering from Cancer.
