Anti-CAA protests happen in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Chennai

Protests against the new citizenship law are continuing to take place in parts of south India. On Friday, thousands of Muslims reportedly gathered at the famous Gymkhana Ground in Vijayawada, raising slogans against the Central government.

In Hyderabad, Old City witnessed Muslim youths come out onto roads after the Friday prayers.

On Saturday, thousands of protestors were mobilized by the Thowheed Jamath in Chennai.

In parts of North India, like in Uttar Pradesh, protests have been taking place.
