Anupam Kher bags the best actor award for this movie

Actor Anupam Kher has been around for decades and he has given countless memorable performances. Actor has starred in several Hollywood projects as well including the TV show 'New Amsterdam'. He recently starred in a short film titled 'Happy Birthday' and managed to impress critics all over the world with his class act. Yesterday, it was revealed that the film has been nominated for awards at the New York City International Film Festival.

Anupam Kher bagged the Best Actor award while the film 'Happy Birthday' won under the Best Short Film category. Directed by Prasad Kadam and bankrolled by FNP Media, the film also starred, Aahana Kumar. The duo also shared screen in the film 'The Accidental Prime Minister'.

Talking about his little achievement, Anupam said, Thank you New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) for this great honour. It's humbling to be declare the Best Actor in this film festival. The credit goes to the whole team of Happy Birthday and my co-actor Aahana Kumra, thanks to the director Prasad Kadam, story writer, production team and everybody.
