Anupam Kher gets special invite from RK Laxman

When RK Laxman came to know that the Team of 'Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami' paid an ode to R. K. Laxman's Common Man Statue he was keen to meet the entire team.
On 9th September the film team felicitated the years old statue to signify the reverence of the film with the Common Man. When the veteran cartoonist came to know about it, he asked his daughter to call the Anupam Kher the very next day to arrange for a meeting. The cartoonist was delighted that someone honored one of his best cartoons and saluted the spirit it had.
The very well known Indian Cartoon, The Common Man has represented the hopes, aspirations, troubles and perhaps even foibles of the average Indian, through a daily comic strip since years together. 'Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami' which is a story of a common man, the team wants to celebrate the spirit of a common man.
Directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Abhinav Shukla, 'Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami' stars Anupam Kher, Neha Dhupia, Divyendu Sharma, Manu Rishi, Aditi Sharma and Rajesh Sharma. The film is set to release on 19th September 2014.
