AP Minister makes a fresh statement on SSC exams

A day after the KCR government cancelled the SSC exams in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh on Wednesday said that Class X exams will be held as per the recently-announced schedule in the State. This means that the exams will be held from July 10 to 15.
The statement comes in the wake of rumours that the Jaganmohan Reddy government is going to declare all students as pass by doing away with the exams altogether. With parents and students in confusion, the Minister has put the record straight promptly.
Social distancing will be ensured inside exam halls and outside the centres. Arrangements have been put in place for an ethical and healthy way of conducting the exams.
As is known, the exams will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm.
