Appukutty's clarification about his role in 'Vivegam'

Actor Appukutty aka Sivabalan has acted with Thala Ajith in Veeram' and Vivegam'. Ever since Veeram' days Ajith and it is a well known fact that Ajith is a well-wisher of the character cum comedy actor.
Naturally speculations were rife that Appukutty is playing a role in Ajith's Vivegam' which is being directed by Siva after Veeram' and Vedalam'.
But the National Award winning actor has now clarified that he is not acting in Vivegam'. "It is true that Ajith sir, is affectionate towards me. But Vivegam' is a story of a gang war happening in foreign countries. I understand that the script would not have demanded any role for an actor like me. "
