Rahul Gandhi gives Apsara Reddy highest post ever for a transgender

Apsara Reddy has been made the National General Secretary of the All India Mahila Congress by the Congres Chief Rahul Gandhi. She becomes the first transgender in India to get such a posting in a National political party.

Apsara Reddy hailing from Chennai is a media personality who has done several talk shows and earlier was with the BJP and also a spokesperson for the ALL India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).
