Music composer A.R. Rahman experienced a sudden health issue yesterday morning. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital on Greames Road, Chennai, where he underwent medical tests. After consulting the doctors, he returned home, as confirmed by the hospital administration.
Earlier, reports suggested that he was hospitalized due to chest pain. However, Rahman's son, Ameen, clarified, "My father felt weak due to dehydration, so he underwent some routine tests. He is now doing well. We appreciate the love and blessings from fans, family, and well-wishers."
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin also inquired about Rahman’s health. In his statement, he said, "Upon hearing the news of A.R. Rahman’s hospitalization, I contacted the doctors, who assured me that he is stable and will be returning home soon. I am relieved and happy to hear this."
Meanwhile, actress Saira Banu addressed the media, requesting them not to refer to her as Rahman's "former wife." She stated in a video, "By God's grace, he is now fine. We have not legally divorced but are living separately due to my health issues. Please do not refer to me as his former wife."
