Rahman and SJ Suryah Join Forces Again in Killer Movie Collaboration

Music director A.R. Rahman and director-actor S.J. Suryah have previously delivered hit soundtracks in films like New and Anbe Aaruyire. They are now teaming up once again for the upcoming Tamil film Killer, which S.J. Suryah is directing and also starring in as the lead.

The official pooja (launch) of the film took place on June 30. Actress Preethi Asrani, known for her performance in Ayothi, will be playing the female lead alongside Suryah.

S.J. Suryah is well known for his unique storytelling and has directed milestone films for leading stars like Ajith and Vijay in the early stages of his career. Later, he took on acting and directing in films such as New, Anbe Aaruyire, and Isai, with Killer now joining that list.

After focusing primarily on acting since his 2015 film Isai, Killer marks Suryah’s return to film direction, much to the excitement of his fans. The collaboration with A.R. Rahman adds even more buzz to the project. Their previous collaborations have produced chart-topping tracks that are still popular today.

S.J. Suryah expressed his happiness on joining hands with Rahman once again, calling him a “musical legend” and “India’s pride” in a social media post. He also shared a photo of Rahman holding a gun, likely teasing a connection to the film’s theme.

With a promising team and high expectations, fans are eagerly looking forward to what Killer has to offer.
