Director Sundar C, who had last directed Action starring Vishal and Tamannaah has been known for his comedy based family entertainers, and in 2014 the director first stepped into a different zone with his horror flick Aranmanai starring Vinay, Andrea Jeremiah, Hansika Motwani, Raai Laxmi and Santhanam.

After the success of Aranmanai, Sundar C directed Aranmanai 2 starring Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika Motwani and Poonam Bajwa and this movie was also commercially successful. Now the director is set to return to the Aranmanai franchise as he will be directing Aranmanai 3 next.

While it was announced recently that Arya and Raashi Khanna will be the lead pair in Aranmanai 3, now it has been revealed that Andrea Jeremiah who was the lead in Aranmanai will also be seen in Aranmanai 3 as one of the leads. Aranmanai 3 will also star Sundar C, Vivek and Yogi Babu.
