‘Arjun Reddy’ star Vijay Devarakonda begins a new venture - dedicates to his parents!

Vijay Devarakonda is currently one of the leading actors in South India. The star rose to fame with the blockbuster Telugu film 'Arjun Reddy'. He garnered love and popularity not only from the Tollywood fans but also from the entire South Indian fans.

Along with being a star hero, he is also an entrepreneur and producer. The latest is that the star has entered the multiplex business today. VJD is already in the clothing business under the brand name Rowdy Wear. Now, he decided to step into the theatrical trade. He expressed that it is a long-time wish.

Vijay Devarakonda announced this news by sharing a video on his Twitter page. Sharing this good news, VJD wrote, "From dreaming of becoming an Actor to now owning my own Multiplex Cinema. I share with you all, Asian Vijay Deverakonda cinemas. The 1st AVD will officially open in Mahbubnagar, from September 24th 2021." Vijay begins the new journey today marking the birthday of his mother. He has posted that the new venture is a dedication to his mother on Twitter.

In the video, he informs the good news and gives us a peek at the beauty of the luxurious multiplex constructed in Mahbubnagar. He also said that Mahbubnagar is the native place of his parents and he wanted to treat all the people of that area with this special gift. He added that he is unable to attend the event as he is busy in the 'Liger' shooting in Goa.

Vijay constructed this theatre in partnership with Asian Cinemas and thus, it is named Asian Vijay Devarakonda Cinemas(AVD). The first movie to be screened on AVD's big screens is Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer 'Love Story' that releases on September 24. The actor wanted to start the multiplex with Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab but the construction was not complete by then.
