'Arjun Reddy' director Sandeep Vanga's new project raises curiosity

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, whose Hindi remake of 'Arjun Reddy' (titled 'Kabir Singh') proved to be a breakout film in 2018, is next going to wield the megaphone for a crime drama titled 'Animal'. The project stars Ranbir Kapoor as the hero. Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol (whose 'Aashram' has been an ultra-successful web series) and Parineeti Chopra will be playing the next most important roles.

A teaser was released today to make the announcement about the expensive project. The sound of bullets towards the end of the teaser suggests that the film is going to be a violent one.

Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, the film will also have investment by Pranay Reddy Vanga, the director's relative.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is fast completing the shoot of the epic fantasy drama 'Brahmastra', which co-stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna. The 'Sanju' actor will also be doing 'Shamshera' and an untitled film in the direction of Luv Ranjan.
