As we all know director A.R.Murugadoss is presently busy shooting for his Bollywood flick 'Akira' starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. The film is the Hindi remake of Tamil super hit thriller 'Mouna Guru'. Murugadoss has tweaked the plot as such the central character is a female instead of male.
The film went on floors in early 2015 and now we learn from reliable sources that the film will be hitting the screens on September 23, 2016.
Kollywood beauty Raai Lakshmi plays an important cameo in the film. The supporting cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Urmila Mahanta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Shatrughan Sinha and many others. Musical score is being rendered by Vishal-Shekhar duo while R.D.Rajasekhar is handling the cinematography.
ARM is producing this film along with Fox Star Studios banner.
After completing 'Akira', Murugadoss will head down south to direct a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Mahesh Babu playing the lead role.
