Arrangements on for Eega/Naan Ee audio release

The buzz is that the audio of SS Rajamouli's bi-lingual Eega (Naan Ee in Tamil) will be released in the last leg of March. Starring Nani and Sudeep in the leading roles, the film is slated to be released in mid-April.

The big-time summer release banks on three markets. Besides Telugu and Tamil, it will have a huge market in Karnataka, thanks to the presence of Sandalwood star Sudeep. This is the most important film Rajamouli has ever made, only next to Magadheera maybe.

That the director has chosen a very difficult subject and the genre of the film, bear testimony to the fact that Eega is definitely an avant-garde film to watch out for. The hero is killed at the outset, and he reincarnates as a fly to avenge his death. Sudeep has recently been quoted as saying that the film is an intense human emotional thriller.

It will be interesting to see if Rajamouli will dish out a Hollywood-kinda spectacle. If that were to be true, he will be considered Tollywood's own Shankar!
