Arulnithi joins the Pongal 2016 race

As we all know, four Tamil films are releasing on Pongal 2016. All the four- 'Tharai Thappattai', 'Rajini Murugan', 'Kathakali' and 'Gethu' are biggies. Now actor Arulnithi's upcoming film 'Aarathu Sinam' will also be having a release on the Pongal day.
The trailer of this film directed by Arivazahgan of 'Eeram' and 'Vallinam' fame will be released on January 15, 2016, to cash in on the auspicious Pongal festival.
'Aarathu Sinam' is the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit film 'Memories' directed by Jeethu Joseph with Prithviraj in the leadr ole. The film revolves around the investigation of a series of murders done by a drunkard cop. Aishwarya Rajesh.and Aishwarya Dutta play the female leads in the Tamil version.The musical score has been done by S.S.Thaman.
Recently a slick teaser was released to give a feel of the film and Arulnithi's character to the audience. Arivazhagan has confirmed that the contents of that teaser would not be a part of the film.
'Aarathu Sinam' is being produced by Sri Thenandal Films.
