From criminal Victor to cop Vetrimaran

After the massive hit of Ajith Kumar starrer Yennai Arindhaal', Arun Vijay is currently working in the upcoming medico crime thriller Kuttram 23' that is Directed by Arivazhagan of 'Eeram' fame. Kuttram 23' is being produced by Aarathi Arun under the banner In Cinemas Entertainment (ICE) jointly with Inder Kumar of Redhan - The Cinema People.
While the film's shoot has been going on for long, the team has now made a surprising revelation. Arun Vijay is playing a police officer role in Kuttram 23. Arun Vijay known for sheer commitment has grabbed some information from his Fan, a Police Constable, to capture the perfection. "A Police salute matters a lot while acting in a Cop role. But my fan who is working as a Police constable made that task easy for me. He used to send some perfect salute videos in Whatsapp through which I have gained more knowledge on a Perfect Police Salute.." he says.
Arun's character name in the film is Vetrimaran. Interestingly in his previous film 'Yennai Arindhal' Arun played the role of Victor, a criminal who opposes a cop.
Moreover the director Arivazhagan assures that this fill give an experience of reading a fast paced crime novel. "'Kuttram 23', will travel one the lines of writer Rajesh Kumar's Novel. Apart from that a message that is very close to the heart will be delivered to the Audience."
