Arun Vijay is thrilled about his upcoming film 'Yaanai' which marks his first union with director Hari. Touted to a mass rural entertainer, the actor plays the role of an angry villager. Produced by Drumsticks Productions, Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the romantic interest of Arun Vijay in the film.

The latest news is that the makers are set to start the last leg of filming in Karaikudi. Arun Vijay took to his Instagram to share the exciting update with the fans. He wrote that the team is headed to Karaikudi for the final schedule on October 27. The star was all draped in black with a bag, headphones, mask and coolers on. Arun was spotted in an airport.

Veteran Prakash raj was supposed to play an important role in Yaanai but he opted out of the project due to a shoulder injury. Actor Samuthirakani replaced him and the star cast also includes Yogi Babu, CWC Pugazh, Radhika Sarathkumar, Ammu Abirami and KGF fame Garuda Ram. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring music while Gopinath cranks the camera.
