Will Dhanush act in 'Padman' remake?

Director Balki's 'Padman' is turning out to be a super and it has also fetched enormous critical acclaim. The film is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganandha, a resident of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu who made a revolution in the production of sanitary napkins and made them available at a very low cost to benefit women living in rural areas.

In a recent interview Arunachalam has expressed satisfaction about the movie reflecting his real life struggles to achieve the place where he is today. He has also said that he would be happy if Dhanush replaces Akshay Kumar in the Tamil remake of the film. 

Hope the multi-talented Mr.D is listening.
