Director AL Vijay, who had directed movies like Watchman and Devi 2 in 2019, is next directing the movie Thalaivi, which is the biopic of former superstar actress and late former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa. The movie is currently being filmed in various locations of the country.
Few months back, the first look of the movie and the teaser was released, presenting the look of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut as Jayalalithaa, in both the young looks as an actress and as the chief minister, and now the next update from Thalaivi team is out.
As the birth anniversary of Superstar actor and former Chief minister of Tamil Nadu MG Ramachandran falls today, Thalaivi team has released stills of actor Arvind Swami as MGR from the movie. Arvind Swami's completely transformed fit and clean shaven looks as MGR has been trending on social media.
