Arvind and Amala start a new venture today

We had reported earlier that Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul will be acting in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam super hit comedy 'Bhaskar The Rascal'. The film will also have 'Theri' fame Baby Nainika playing the role of Amala's daughter.

The Tamil version has been titled as 'Baskar Oru Rascal' will be directed by Siddique who directed the Malayalam original. The shooting of the film commenced today (April 3) in Cochin, with a formal Pooja.

Mammotty and Nayanthara played the lead roles in the Malayalam film. Arvind and Amala replace them in the Tamil version and this is the first time the duo will be sharing screen space .
