Arvind Swamy’s ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’ was one of the most anticipated contenders to clash with the coming Pongal releases. However an important announcement regarding the change in the film’s release has been disclosed.

The release of ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’ directed by Siddique has been moved to January 26. The reason cited is that Bharathan Films the distributor of ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’ for Tamil Nadu are also the distributors of Suriya’s ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’. 

So the film will have a Republic day release along with Vishal’s ‘Irumbu Thirai’ and Jayam Ravi’s ‘Tik Tik Tik’. The film bankrolled by Harshini Movies stars Arvind Swamy, Amala Paul in the lead roles with Amresg Ganesh having composed the music score.
