Arvind Swamy has been lauded by critics and audiences alike for his performance as a ruthless gangster who turns against his family in Mani Ratnam's super hit mulstistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. Though he has completed 'Sathuranga Vettai 2' costarring Trisha and 'Naragasooran' directed by Karthik Naren his next release will be 'Kallapart' directed by Rajapandi and costarring Regina Cassandra.

It has now come to light that Arvind Swamy is portraying the role of a physically challenged person in 'Kallapart' who takes on a deadly antagonist while Regina Cassandra plays a dance teacher and his love interest. The team is eyeing an April release and will announce the date soon.
