Actor Arya was last seen playing a person with attention/ memory related issues, in the comedy entertainer Ghajinikanth costarring Sayyeshaa and directed by Santhosh Jayakumar and the movie was produced by Studio Green.

The latest update is that, the actor has been signed to play the lead in the upcoming movie directed by ARK Saravanan who had earlier directed the fantasy comedy Maragadha Naanayam. This movie will be produced by Studio Green and an official announcement is expected soon.

Arya is also acting in Teddy directed by Shakti Soundararajan and again produced by Studio Green, and this movie will have him paired with Sayyeshaa, and his next release is going to be the Suriya - KV Anand combo's action thriller Kaappaan releasing on August 30.
