It was rumored a few days back that director Suraj is remaking Superstar Rajinikanth`s yesteryear hit Pandian` with Arya in the title role.

Suraaj who has earlier directed films like Padikathavan`, Mappillai` and Sakalakala Vallavan` has cleared the air that he has finished penning a fresh script for his next but it is definitely not a remake of Pandian`.
