Arya is a leading actor in Tamil cinema. However, his recent works except 'Magamuni' and 'Sarpatta Parambarai' didn't work well with the audience. Director Pa Ranjith's 'Sarpatta Parambarai' became one of the best films in his career despite being an OTT release due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the boxing drama was released in 2021 and won high acclaim, the makers announced a sequel last year. As per the latest reports, the pre-production works for 'Sarpatta 2' have kickstarted. Arya started his boxing training for this movie. This project is said to be made at a whopping budget of Rs 90 crore on an extravagant scale.

Pa Ranjith will start the production works of 'Sarpatta 2' after the release of 'Thangalaan' in April. Recently, Arya took to his Twitter and shared a video of him undergoing boxing training for his upcoming films. He has the action thriller, 'Mr X', directed by Manu Anand and the sports drama, 'Sarpatta Parambarai 2', directed by Pa Ranjith.
