Arya will be seen in a big-budget political thriller, directed by Jeeva Shankar. The filmmaker, who made his debut with Vijay Antony-starrer 'Naan', last made 'Amara Kaaviyam' starring Arya's brother Sathya.

"Jeeva Shankar shares a close rapport with Arya (producer of 'Amara Kaaviyam') and he recently narrated a script to him. The actor was impressed with it," sources say.

Since Arya is busy with three more projects now, shooting for this yet untitled movie is expected to begin late this year. Meanwhile, Arya's immediate release will be 'Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai' directed by S P Jhananathan.
