Ashish Chowdhary Turns a Parsi

Spreading the chuckles around seems to be actor Ashish Chowdhary’s agenda at the moment. After a decent performance as a typically genial Gujarati man in ‘Fight Club’, Aashish will now assume the mantle of another community known for its humour and pleasant nature- the Parsis!. Our source tells us that Aashish will play an amiable Parsi in Inder Kumar’s new film named ‘Dhamaal’, a fun filled role to follow up his ‘Fight Club’ performance.

With comic films ruling the roost and the super success of ‘Malamaal Weekly’, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ and ‘Golmaal’ establishing Humour as the current Hot Favourite, Inder Kumar’s Dhamaal shall be aiming to add to that list. Even though, Kumar’s last release ‘Pyaare Mohan’ didn’t exactly set the cash registers ringing, there were a lot of people who liked its soft romantic flavour enthused with the spice of comic lines thrown in. Let’s see if ‘Dhamaal’ manages to recreate the magic of ‘Masti’.
