The official announcement of Ashok Selvan's new film was released yesterday. This charming actor rose to fame after the success of the film 'Thegidi'. He will next play the lead in a new film produced by Viacom 18 Studios and Rise East Entertainment.

Written and directed by Karthik, this new film will be shot by George C. Williams, a leading cinematographer of Tamil cinema, and will be composed by Gopi Sundar.  Along with actor Ashok Selvan, actresses Aparna Balamurali, Ritu Verma and Sivathmika are playing the lead roles.

On the other hand Selvan completed shooting for his film 'Hostel' and waiting for its release. He made his debut in the year 2013 as a supportive actor in the film Soodhu Kavvum and went on to act as the male lead in the film Pizza 2 : Villa. It is also notable that he produced his last film 'Oh My Kadavule' and tasted the success of this romantic fantasy.
