Bollywood and South actress Asin married Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in New Delhi. The wedding ceremony was conducted on Tuesday, January 19 morning as per Christian traditions in a Church setting created inside a hotel. The wedding was attended by family members and close relatives of the couple.
Asin's close friend and co-star Akshay Kumar played cupid for the couple. He was the one who introduced her to Mr Sharma, so as a true friend and person Akshay was the best man for the wedding and was present on both occasions. The actor also posted and tweeted a picture of himself with the newly-weds from their church wedding and wished them 'a lifetime of love and adventures.'
After the Christian marriage in the evening the couple performed as per Hindu rituals and it was attended by close friends and family. The groom arrived in an open car with the baaraat. Celebrity designer Sabyasachi, designed Asin's lehenga-choli for her Hindu nuptials.
