At last, Ram Charan may celebrate in Kurnool

Racha's audio release was planned to be held in the presence of Chiru, Pawan and director Shankar in Kurnool. The event was cancelled by the makers apparently because Cherry realized late in the day that it was exam season! He did not want to disturb the 'Mega' fans among the students and decided to keep the affair a simple one in Hyderabad.

May is holiday season and Charan, it is said, now wants to celebrate the 50-days function of his commercial behemoth in Kurnool. The producers are said to be making arrangements to hold the event in the last week of May, and the venue is most likely to be STBC College grounds.

The film's second week run, say trade pundits, has been satisfactory. Given the holiday season and no big release to challenge it, it is Racha all the way.

Gopichand plays a doughty cop in bi-lingual

Like Ram, Gopichand is acting in a Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual. Unlike Ram, he is not playing a thorough lover boy here. He is playing a duty-minded and upright police officer, and though Bhupati Pandian’s film starring the Mogudu star is essentially about a heroic cop, our hero does have a romantic side too.
