Actor Atharvaa was last seen playing a police officer in Sam Anton directorial 100, which recently celebrated 50 days of theatrical run, and the actor is all set to join hands with director Kannan, who whom he had earlier this year collaborated to deliver the thriller Boomerang.

This new movie will have Atharvaa paired with Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran, who is returning to Tamil after the 2016 Dhanush starrer Kodi. Reportedly, while Boomerang dealt with a social issue, this movie will be a romantic flick which will focus on family and relationships.

This untitled project begins shooting from July 15, and the movie will have Atharvaa as a PhD scholar and Anupama Parameswaran plays a Bharatyanatyam dancer. The movie will be shot in Chennai as well as abroad. After this movie, Kannan will start his next starring Santhanam.
