After blockbuster success last year with director AR Murugadoss, producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu is gearing up to launch Santhosh as an independent director. Santhosh was formerly an associate of director ARM and will be handling a romantic comedy film in his debut.

The rom-com will have Atharvaa in the lead, with the Tollywood actress Catherine Teresa playing the heroine. Interestingly, drums Sivamani will be composing music for this film, which will be on camera by Aravind Krishna. The film is likely to go on the floors next month. While Atharvaa is busy shooting for the biker movie 'Irumbu Kuthirai', Catherine is making her debut in Kollywood with Karthi's next, titled 'Kaali', which is a story based in North Chennai.
