Indian cricketer KL Rahul, who recently celebrated his 29th birthday, got an adorable wish from his girlfriend and popular actress Athiya Shetty on the occasion.

Expressing her gratitude, Athiya Shetty shared two mirror selfies of the duo and the post has since gone viral. "grateful for you, happy birthday," Athiya had captioned the post, which has garnered over 6 lakh likes and nearly 5000 comments. Darbar actor and Athiya Shetty's father, Suniel Shetty, dropped a comment on the post as well. "Truly," he had replied with a black heart emoji. Meanwhile, cricketer Hardik Pandya had commented, "My cuties." A Bollywood entertainment portal had reported last year that Athiya and Rahul had met through a common friend and instantly hit it off. And apparently, they have been dating since February 2019. The couple also went on a vacation for the 2020 New Years' to Thailand along with their friends.

Athiya Shetty is the daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who was last seen playing the antagonist in Rajinikanth's Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The actress made her Bollywood debut in the 2015 film Hero, alongside newcomer Sooraj Pancholi. Meanwhile, KL Rahul is currently captaining the Punjab Kings franchise in the ongoing Indian Premier League.
