An unexpected change in Atlees next movie? - Fans disappointed

Atlee, who debuted in Tamil with the super hit film 'Raja Rani', followed it up with delivering three consecutive blockbuster hits 'Theri', 'Mersal' and 'Bigil' all starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead. He is currently directing 'Jawaan' produced by and starring Shah Rukh Khan for which he reportedly recieved a staggering rupees thirty five crores as salary.

Atlee himself confirmed a few months back that 'Jawan' will release worldwide on June 2nd this year. Latest reports from Bollywood suggests that the production house Red Chillies Entertainment is planning to postpone the film to may be October. The reasons said is that there is still a major chunk of scenes to be canned that also includes a powerful cameo by Sanjay Dutt who is super busy right now.

The veteran actor's call sheet is full with projects that include Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Further it is said that both SRK and Atlee wanted to do extensive promotions all across India as well as abroad and the July deadline is not feasible. We will have to wait for the official announcement though.

'Jawan' has several Kollywood's big names such as Anirudh, Richard M Nathan and Ruben serving as music director, cinematographer and editor respectively. The cast also represents Tamil cinema strongly in the form of Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Priya Mani.

Atlee is said to be reuniting with Vijay for the fourth time for 'Thalapathy 68' for which the producer Sun Pictures is said to have signed him for a unheard of rupees fifty crores. If this is true then Atlee is the highest paid filmmaker in South and pan India as well.
