Attack
RGV is high on the success of his Kannada blockbuster Killing Veerappan, which became a hit in Telugu as well. While Manoj failed to strike gold with Shourya, he hopes to deliver a hit with this film with an ensemble cast.
Silent and RGV in one sentence is nothing less than a blasphemy. A silent 'Attack' is an oxymoron. However, that is exactly what is happening this season. Attack, starring Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Vadde Naveen, and Surabhi in important roles, will be releasing soon. The producer C Kalyan has chosen to release it without much publicity. Cinematography is by Anji.
The film's shooting was completed last year itself. However, it didn't hit the marquee. Later, the producer felt that since Shourya was on the anvil, it made sense to wait for its release so as to bank upon its success. In the event, Shourya released but got a mixed response.
In a week where all the other releases are romantic (barring 7 to 4), Attack stands good chances of scoring a hit.
