Attractiveness, not beauty, is important, says Ileana

Having held her ground for more than six years and still going strong and with two Bollywood films in her kitty, Ileana is qualified to throw some 'gyan' about the essentials of a heroine. She feels that being beautiful is important but it is not the sole criterion to make it big in films. If beauty was the only criterion, then many would not have the opportunity to fare well in the industry. It is important to act after thoroughly understanding the character, Ileana coins.

She attests that more than beauty, being attractive is paramount. She quotes the examples of Tabu and Vidya Balan. There are many in films who may not be very beautiful but look very attractive. Tabu and Vidya Balan, they have got immense power of attraction. That’s why they have been able to make it big nationally.

Ileana does make a valid point. Coming to her, she says that she never gives priority to beauty. It is because the lissom actress believes that beauty does not bring offers for ever.
