Director James Cameron's cinematic marvel 'Avatar 2: The Way of Water' hits cinemas in India today. The highly anticipated movie was released in some countries on December 14. In India, Avatar 2 is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.

Disney is distributing 'The Way of Water' directly in India. Now, the hot news is that Avatar 2 is not releasing in some important centers in India including Tamil Nadu due to revenue-sharing issues between the theatre owners and Disney. Popular multiplexes are not releasing the film in and around Chennai. Fans are heavily disappointed after learning about this issue.

This is the case in many of the famous single-screen and multiplex theatres in all over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to sources, the concerned people are still negotiating terms and Avatar 2 might get a delayed release in these places. The movie has gained astonishing reviews all over the world and took a strong opening at the box office amid the issues.
