Avatar: The Way of Water runtime and theatrical plans revealed! - Hot update

'Avatar', directed by James Cameron, set a new benchmark for visual experience and is a milestone in cinema history. While the first part was released back in 2009, the fans are long awaiting the sequel titled 'The Way of Water'. The two trailers of Avatar 2 have created huge expectations all over the world.

Meanwhile, it is already known that the film is slated to hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam in India on December 16. The upcoming film will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D formats across the country. Now, the sources have revealed that Avatar: The Way of Water will have a runtime of around 3 hours and 10 minutes (190 minutes).

There is a mammoth hype for the sequel in regional places including Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It is being said that the theatres in these areas have decided to schedule 4 shows daily. We already updated you that the normal 3D shows will begin at 12 AM and the IMAX 3D shows will begin at 5 AM for Avatar 2.

'Avatar: The Way of Water' stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and Kate Winslet among others. The screenplay is by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. Production is by Lightstorm Entertainment while worldwide distribution is by 20th Century Fox. Simon Franglen composed the music for the movie.
