Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has been slowly and steadily making his presence felt in Bollywood and is one of the rising stars of the industry with his superhit movies like Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan, Article 15 etc.

Now it has been announced that the actor's next most expected movie will release on OTT platforms directly, skipping theatres. Amidst coronavirus lockdown and with the theatres closed, it has been announced officially that Ayushmann's Gulabo Sitabo will premiere on Amazon prime video on June 12.

Gulabo Sitabo is a family comedy entertainer directed by acclaimed maker Shoojit Sircar and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, and the movie marks Shoojit's second collaboration with Ayushmann after Vicky Donor and with Amitabh after Piku.
