Popular producer Five star Kathiresan has been known for producing hits such as Pollathavan, Jigarthanda etc and earlier last year announced producing a movie which will have actor - director Raghava Lawrence playing the lead role.

This movie titled Rudhran has music scored by GV Prakash and it was later also revealed that this movie will mark the directorial debut of producer Five Star Kathiresan himself and this movie is being filmed now.

The latest buzz making the rounds is that Five Star Kathiresan might be directing the Tamil remake of 2020 Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum and an official clarification on this speculation is expected soon. This Tamil remake will star Sasikumar and Sarathkumar in lead roles as per reports.
