Wow! Ayyappanum Koshiyum to get remake in this language!

Prithviraj-Biju Menon starrer 2020 release Ayyappanum Koshiyum is one of the most successful films in Malayalam. After the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil remake rights of the movie got sold, now the latest is that the makers have sold the Kannada remake rights for a whopping price. An official announcement regarding the Kannada remake is expected soon.
'Ayyappanum Koshiyum', the revenge drama that revolved around an ego clash between a police officer named Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon, and a retired havildar named Koshy Kurian, essayed by Prithviraj, is written and helmed by late director Sachy. The film was a huge success, both critically and commercially. 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' is produced by the banner Gold Coin Motion Pictures.
In the Telugu remake, actors Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are playing the lead. Saagar K Chandra is directing the remake version, which is yet to be titled. S Kathiresan, who had produced acclaimed films like ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Jigarthanda’, has acquired the rights of the Tamil version. In Hindi, John Abraham bagged the remake rights. Reportedly, John and Abhishek Bachchan are being considered to play the lead roles.
