Azhikkode watches 'Pranayam'

Following his statements to clear off and end the controversy with Mollywood Superstar Mohanlal, popular orator and writer Sukumar Azhikkod has found time to watch lal's new movie 'Pranayam' on theatres. Azhikkod who watched the movie at Thrissur seems to be a satisfied viewer and conveyed his appreciation for the performance of the superstar. Azhikkod commented that Lal has reinvented himself in the movie. 'This is really a different lal that you see in 'Pranayam', a part of the credit for that must also go to its director Blessy. Lal must continue with this kind of efforts' observed Azhikkod.
With the Thilakan issue acting as the trigger point, Azhikode has been hinting that it is high time that the leading stars of Malayalam stepped aside in compliance to their age and figure, and the comment has brought the writer into an open confrontation with Mohanlal.The stand-off between them took a serious turn when Prof. Azhikode filed a defamation suit at the Thrissur Chief Judicial Magistrate Court against Mr. Mohanlal for the later's comment that the orator was suffering from - hallucination. The spats went on for months with Azhikkod commenting on everything that involved the actor.
In another interesting turn of events Lal fans association members offered bouquet of flowers to Azhikkod, when he came out of the theatres after the show.
