Baba Ramdev's Patanjali to bid for IPL: Reports

Has the IPL just got an unlikely bidder in Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved? If media reports are to be believed, the Ayurved company has decided to bid for IPL sponsorship after the Chinese handset maker Vivo recently walked out of the project.
A representative of the famous company that runs on the back of Ramdev's huge popularity has been quoted as saying that a final decision on the issue is yet to be taken. The news agency PTI has said that the BCCI is all set to come up with the expression of interest.
By entering into a deal with the BCCI, Patanjali must be hoping to rev up its popularity internationally.
Jokingly commenting on the news, social media influencer Ramesh Srivats tweeted, I am all for Patanjali sponsoring IPL. I'll do Sirsasana and finally see RCB at the top of the table.
