'Baby' and 'Dolly Ki Doli' set to create record for biggest January ever

2015 is finally set to have a mighty weekend ahead, what with 'Baby' and 'Dolly Ki Doli' arriving at the box office. Though there were hopes from Tevar to take a fabulous start, it wasn't the case to be. However, both 'Baby' and 'Dolly Ki Doli' are carrying good vibes that should bring audience back in theaters.

Let us begin with 'Baby', The film is carrying very positive reports and those who have seen it already vouch for it to be one of the classiest thrilling entertainers to have come out of Bollywood. The combination of Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey (after Special 26) has ensured that the film stays on news for all the right reasons. There is good deal of positivity around the film and since it comes at the time when terrorism is showing its ugly face in many parts of the world, Baby couldn't have been more topical.

The film is all set to take a bigger opening than Akshay's Entertainment and should top Holiday as well. Even if the opening day comes in the vicinity of Holiday, it would catch up in a big way on the Republic Day, which falls on Monday and hence would result in a bountiful four day long weekend. The film has all the trappings to be a biggie for all involved with the film.

On the other hand Dolly Ki Dolly has an out and out massy feel to it and that should help it gain audience in single screens, especially in the interiors. Though Baby is a major challenge at the multiplexes, Dolly Ki Doli appears like a fun film and that should keep family audiences interested. The film should open on more or less the same lines as Sonam Kapoor's last release Khoobsurat. However, it too would benefit from the Republic Day weekend, which should help it going for rest of the weekend.

All in all, a positive weekend ahead and industry has good hopes that finally January would have a bona fide success to its name.
