Interesting detail on how Ajith and Vinoth got Valimai title!

Thala Ajith who has been on a great box office form has scored two hits this year, the Pongal release Viswasam directed by Siva and the recently released legal drama Ner Konda Paarvai which was directed by H Vinoth. Both the movies grossed more than 100 crores.
Following the success of Ner Konda Paarvai, Ajith has again joined hands with H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor for his 60th movie, which was recently launched formally with a pooja and the movie had been announced to be titled as Valimai.
Now an interesting back story has come out on how the team got the title. Valimai was reportedly registered by Kenanya Films, and Vinoth's team had sought permission to use the title, sending a letter and Selvakumar who owns Kenanya Films, being an ardent Thala fan himself, has immediately given the title to the team. Valimai has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah.
