A volley of bad news for Deepika Padukone

The time isn't going well for Deepika Padukone. At first, it was revealed that her father and Badminton played Prakash Padukone has contracted the Covid-19 virus and has been hospitalized subsequently. The reports suggest that Deepika herself ahs contracted the virus now and she is with her family in Bangalore for now. Apparantly, her mother and sister have also tested positive.

Deepika Padukone is the one after several other celebs who have fallen pray to second wave of the Corona virus. However, Deepika hasn't confirmed the news yet. Her illness will cause a delay on the film she's been working on. These include Shahrukh Khan's 'Pathan', Shakun Batra's untitled film and Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter'. She will also be seen alongside her husband Ranveer Singh in the sports drama '83'.
